About Us

Our Mission Statement

Ridge Healthcare Foundation serves the people of Edgefield county and surrounding communities, by enhancing the services of Edgefield County Healthcare. Through donations of equipment as well as renovations to the Edgefield County Hospital it is our on going goal to improve the experience of patients and employees alike.

Our History

Ridge Healthcare Foundation was founded in 1984 by a dedicated group of medical professionals and community members.  These founding members where determined to keep the hospital open, when budget issues threatened to limit the available care and treatment to Edgefield County 

Our Team

Our current team is still comprised of dedicated community members with varying ages and background who have all come together for a common cause.

Donations to ECH, made possible by our donors

A beauty salon, five beds, conference room chairs, front awning, cardiac monitor, a podiatrist chair, two defibrillators, an EKG machine, renovation of the social activities room, a nurse call system, an Emergency Dept. public entrance, a cardiac monitoring system, two striker transport chairs, as well as renovating 2 wings of the main floor of the hospital.
